Unseen to the typical human eye, but as real as anything we do perceive physically, are the Angels and Archangels. These Spiritual beings of love and light are waiting to help us right now. So how do we call upon them and their abilities to ease our lives and provide comfort and support?
The word Angel comes from the Greek word "Angelos" which means "Messenger." And that is exactly what Angels are - messengers or emissaries direct from Source (or God). The vibration (the energy or frequency) of Source is so very high and pure that we, as simple humans, are unable to cope with it directly. And that is where the Angels come in. They act as an intermediate level between us and Source - almost like a step-down transformer!
Angels are pure love and just love to help us - but it is required that we ask for their help. This is not meant to be an inconvenience or awkward in any way - it is simply that we have free will. We make our own decisions about how to run our lives and it is necessary to ask for help, rather than have it put upon us against our will. This is a great respect to us as the leaders and, indeed, creators of our own lives.
We each have one special Angel to look over and guide us - our Solar or Guardian Angel. This Angel has chosen to work with us during our incarnations on Earth and they can provide support and make our passage through life easier and more pleasant.
And remember - prayer can be made silently in your head and is very effective and sometimes more convenient than speaking it aloud. A little pointer for prayer is to say the name of the Angel three times and then ask for what you want - it's that easy! e.g. Michael, Michael, Michael - please protect me and give me strength now.
Here are some tips on working with the Angels:
- Ask your Guardian Angel to protect you and comfort you during tough times - a simple prayer is very effective!
- If life is difficult and stormy with troubles and arguments, you can pray to Archangel Uriel to settle things down and to provide peace and calm again.
- Archangel Zadkiel is the Archangel of Transmutation (or transformation) and can turn negativity into positivity in your life - just ask!
- Archangel Michael will provide protection and strength when you need a boost of courage and comfort.
- And for that all-important element of unconditional love and self-love, call on Archangel Chamuel. He can also help you in finding lost items.
The Angels are ready, willing and able to help you now - avail yourself of their love and light and life will definitely become easier and more pleasant for you. They love to help us and also to help you help yourself. Just ask - that help is there for the asking!
